About Me
Maggie has been the LPGA Teaching Professional at Cross Creek Country Club since 2012. She is a Class A LPGA Professionals Member, U.S. Kids Golf Certified Coach, and head instructor for Cross Creek’s Operation 36 program. She has played the game of golf for over 20 years and won numerous amateur tournaments in the U.S. and overseas. While stationed as a military wife at Dyess Air Force Base in Abilene, Texas, Maggie worked at Mesquite Grove Golf Course teaching junior and women’s golf clinics, where she discovered a passion for teaching the game of golf. In July of 2022, her Pro-Am team won the LPGA Professionals National Championship Pro-Am on The River Course at Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Virginia.
Her teaching philosophy is to teach to the person standing in front of her. No two people are alike; people come in different shapes, sizes, athletic ability, and ages. Maggie uses bio swing mechanics along with video recording to measure each student’s needs, so there is no guessing or one-size-fits-all solutions. Students can use videos recorded during the lesson to see exactly what changes should be made in their swing. A picture is worth a thousand words! After the lesson, Maggie emails them a video analysis of their swing, along with the practice plan that was developed during the lesson. Maggie’s personal touch puts the student on the right path to lower scores.
